Healthy Cities Onkaparinga was a partner in sponsoring Professor Ilona Kickbusch as an Adelaide Thinker in Residence (ATIR).  This is an initiative of the Premier of South Australia to bring prominent Thinkers to South Australia.  

 

As a member of the ATIR, the Southern Partners Group promoted a focus on Southern Adelaide.  Other partners included the Onkaparinga, Marion and Mitcham Councils and Flinders University.   

 

 

Healthy Cities Onkaparinga hosted two major events at which Professor Kickbusch was the keynote speaker

• Welcome Back to the South renewing Healthy Cities Onkaparinga’s association with Professor Kickbusch

 

• Public Lecture ‘The Shift to a Healthy Society’
